My name is Jaci Diggs (pronounced "Jackie"). I am a white, cisgender, queer, neurodivergent woman living on colonized Duwamish land, also known as Seattle. I was born and raised in Southern California and spent my most formative years as a young queer human in San Francisco - a city that continues to hold a special place in my heart. I eventually made my way to the Pacific Northwest for graduate school, where I fell in love with the breathtaking nature and the enriching, supportive community that surrounds me today.
My personal drive towards becoming an art therapist and sex therapist stems from the understanding that I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today without the vibrancy and deep connection I’ve found through creative and sex-positive communities. These experiences have shaped my understanding of authenticity, joy, and the power of connection. In my work, I aim to bring that same vibrancy into the therapeutic space, fostering an environment that invites clients to embrace their most authentic selves.
If you catch me during my free time you'll probably find me making art, exploring outside, eating good food, playing/supporting women's sports, and spending time with my dog and loved ones.
My practice is rooted in authenticity, respect, and radical acceptance, specializing in supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and non-traditional relationships. I aim to create a safe, playful, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their desires, relationship dynamics, and sexual identities, while acknowledging the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities.
My approach is integrative, drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities, including the Developmental Model, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). At its core, my work is focused on helping you navigate challenges by cultivating emotional awareness, enhancing communication, and fostering deeper connections with both your self and your relationships.
I am an active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Washington Division (AAMFT/WAMFT) and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). I have experience working in therapeutic group practice, non-profits, community settings, clinics, and call centers to help a diverse range of clients with LGBTQIA+ topics, complex trauma, identity work, relationship and family conflict, attachment, shame reduction, as well as sexual health & wellness.
